Successful medical technologies are born and scaled only where there is powerful synergy between the government, healthcare institutions, the IT sector, and international organizations.
Understanding the importance of joining forces, on July 16th, the CheckEye team participated in a specialized roundtable on the topic “From Fragmentation to System: How to Build HealthTech in Ukraine.” The event became an important platform for exchanging experience and synchronizing the visions of key market players.
Modern Ukrainian HealthTech has huge potential, but its development is often hampered by disparate initiatives. During the meeting, participants focused on fundamental issues that will help transform point solutions into a seamless system:
- Analysis of actual medical needs: creating products that solve the actual pain points of doctors and patients, rather than existing for the sake of the technology itself.
- Regulatory policy: adapting the legislative framework for the rapid, yet safe, implementation of innovations.
- Security and data access: developing transparent mechanisms for handling medical information, which is critical for training algorithms and AI.
- Practical implementation: overcoming barriers to the integration of digital tools directly in hospitals.
For our team, participation in such events is an opportunity to emphasize our strategic goal. We at CheckEye are convinced: the true value of innovation is revealed only when it goes beyond local pilot projects.
Our task is to ensure that advanced technological solutions are seamlessly integrated into the country’s general medical system. Only under such conditions can digital medicine tools save lives and improve the health of hundreds of thousands of patients at the national level.
We are sincerely grateful to SET University and all co-organizers of the event for creating a space where open dialogue is possible. Such meetings help not only to establish valuable partnerships but also to jointly seek effective ways to build a modern, accessible, and technological medicine in Ukraine.
