CheckEye is expanding early detection capabilities for chronic diseases in partnership with the Ukrainian Academy of Family Medicine (UAFM). A joint project has been launched in four leading medical universities in Ukraine:

  • Bogomolets National Medical University (Kyiv),
  • as well as in Dnipro, Odesa, and Kharkiv.

Additionally, screening technologies will be implemented as part of UAFM’s professional community initiatives, with plans to introduce them soon in a local community in Mykolaiv region.

The Ukrainian Academy of Family Medicine is a network of practicing doctors who work with patients daily and are committed to improving the quality of primary healthcare. The integration of innovative technologies at the university level and within the professional medical community is a crucial step in training a new generation of doctors who can effectively use digital solutions in their practice.

“We believe that technology can significantly improve the quality of family medicine by assisting doctors in clinical decision-making and preventing severe complications. Establishing screening points in medical universities and communities is a step toward meaningful change that is already impacting the health of Ukrainians today,” says Iryna Voloshyna, Director of UAFM.

The CheckEye platform enables fast and contactless detection of chronic disease indicators using artificial intelligence algorithms. This opens new opportunities for general practitioners and family doctors, facilitating early diagnosis that reduces disability risks and enhances patients’ quality of life.

The collaboration between CheckEye and UAFM focuses on integrating innovations into everyday medical practice and advancing research and educational initiatives. The partnership will work on analyzing barriers to implementing digital medical technologies, evaluating their economic impact, and promoting validated solutions within the medical community.

This project is another step toward accessible and effective prevention. Technology and family medicine together are creating new opportunities to safeguard the health of Ukrainians.
