The healthcare world is changing at a furious pace. To stay at the forefront of innovation, it is important not only to create technologies but also to actively share expertise with those who will be developing them tomorrow.

It was with this goal in mind that CheckEye CEO Kyrylo Honcharuk visited the State University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic.” During the meeting, there was an in-depth and open discussion on the topic: “AI in Medicine and the Future of Preventive Diagnostics.”

Combining a visionary approach with real business experience, we focused on the most important changes in the industry:

  • A new healthcare paradigm: Modern medicine is confidently shifting from a reactive approach (treating existing diseases) to a proactive one. Thanks to innovations, we can detect pathologies at early, asymptomatic stages, making the life-saving process significantly more effective.
  • AI as a “co-pilot,” not a replacement for a doctor: Artificial intelligence takes on analysis and routine work.
  • Realities of Ukrainian HealthTech: Moving away from dry theory, we analyzed the true path of a medical startup using CheckEye cases. We talked about everything: from the development of the first algorithms to overcoming barriers when implementing mass screenings in real medical institutions.

We sincerely thank Zhytomyr Polytechnic for the warm welcome and productive dialogue!
