AI-powered eye screening is now a reality in Ukrainian hospitals — thanks to our collaboration with the Ministry of health of Ukraine.
📍 In Odesa and Chernihiv regions, CheckEye has completed a pilot project: over 800 patients with diabetes underwent digital retinal screening.
In 25% of cases, early signs of retinal damage were detected — patients were referred to ophthalmologists in time to prevent complications.
The remaining 75% continue follow-up with their family doctors, without the need for additional intervention.
